Music plays a large part in my magical, handmade business. I use different playlists throughout the day to help guide my creativity, whether that's brainstorming a new potion label design, crafting a color-changing potion, or taking a quiet moment after answering emails.

Over time, I've found a couple of playlists I keep returning to when creating. Each one brings a different type of magic to my art studio.

Here are three magic-inspired playlists I love to get lost in when crafting.

I've recently started creating potion-label-themed stickers and stationery inspired by my fantasy world. When thinking about the lore behind my Unicorn Horn Sticker or my Faerie Nectar Bookmarks, I come to this playlist for inspiration.

With artists like Rabbitology and Faun, this unique combination of folk music and medieval ballads help set the mood for this fantasy collection.

When it comes to potion crafting, my musical mood changes depending on which potion I'm creating.

Songs like "Soldier, Poet, King" by The Oh Hellos bring out my hedge witch side. They help me craft apothecary jars, like Frog Slime and Eye of Newt.

When working on darker potions, like Blood of My Enemies or Vampire Blood, songs like "Fruits" by Paris Paloma help me channel my inner dark cottagecore witch.

Miniature magic is something I started creating last year. A combination of my love for magical decor and dollhouse miniatures.

Sometimes I'm crafting miniature potions for witchy apothecary shelves. Other times I'm designing miniature potion labels so others can easily add them to their own dollhouse decor.

While working on these pieces I enjoy listening to a mix of my favorite whimsigoth songs and contemporary tracks that feel nostalgic. This playlist pairs "Crystal" by Stevie Nicks with "We Fell In Love In October" by girl in red for a perfect blend of magic and cozy vibes.

Music Is More Than Just Listening

Finding the right soundtrack for your craft project, morning routine, or even cleaning the house is an easy way to romanticize your life and bring whimsy to your day.

Sometimes all it takes is the right song to make an ordinary moment feel a little more magical.
